The Steps for How to Make the Easy Angel Crafts: Accordian Folded Paper Angel Ornament:
Print the Easy Angel Crafts Accordian Folded
Paper Angel Ornament pattern page. Cut out the face, support and halo shapes.
You can use these for the Easy Angel Crafts Accordian Folded Paper Angel ornament or use them as
patterns to cut from other papers.
A sturdy paper — 24-pound up to card stock — is recommended for the face and a gold or silver
paper for the halo. The small support piece can be any regular paper except card stock (too thick).

On one face of the paper, make small, light pencil marks every 1/2 inch along both of the 11-inch edges of the
paper.

Using the ruler as a guide, fold across the paper at every set of 1/2 inch marks.

The paper curls on itself as you continue adding each of the 1/2 inch folds.

To form the accordian, turn every other 1/2 inch fold opposite the original fold.

Cut two pieces, each 2 inches long, off the accordian folded paper. These form the wings of the Easy Angel
Crafts Accordian Folded Paper Angel.

On one end of each of the three pieces, punch holes roughly 1/8 inch from the end and centered across the fold.
(Be careful not to put too much paper in the hole punch - the hole punch can break; learned the lesson the
hard way.)

Cut the ribbon length (24"). This ribbon is plain white curling ribbon 1/4 inch wide.

Overlap the 2-inch wing shapes behind two folds of the body shape on each side with the punched holes at the
top.

Thread the ribbon through the holes from the outer edge of one wing shape to the outer edge of the other. Gently
pull the ribbon. Center the angel shape within the length of the ribbon.

Tie a knot in the ribbon close to the gathered accordian paper folds.
Tie a second knot 3 to 4 inches above the first knot to form the hanging loop for the Easy Angel Crafts
Accordian Folded Paper Angel ornament.

Cut the shapes for the face, the halo and the support. Fold the support in half then fold backward along the
other two lines shown on the pattern.

Glue the shapes together. Place glue on the bottom portion of the "nice" side of the halo paper.
Position it on the back of the face shape. Place glue on the "wings" of the support paper and glue to the back of
the face.

After the first glue dries, at least partially, place more glue on either side of the support piece. Position
the support between two of the accordian folds near where the angel's wings and body come together. Hold in place
for a few seconds for the glue to adhere the papers together.

After a short time to dry, your Easy Angel Crafts Accordian Folded Paper Angel can be hung for
decoration.
