Chenille stem - one 12-inch
Ribbon or yarn - one 10-inch piece
Ruler
Scissors
The Steps for How to Make the Easy Christmas Crafts: Chenille Stem Christmas Tree:
Fold the 12-inch chenille stem in half.
Make a bend in both wires 1/2 inch from the folded end.
Make the next bend in both wires in the opposite direction 1/4 inch from the previous bend.
Each bend will be in the opposite direction from the previous bend making a zig-zag pattern.
The next bend in both wires is 1 inch from the last bend.
The fourth bend is 3/4 inch from the third bend.
The fifth bend is 1 1/2 inches from the previous bend.
In summary, the bends are 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch, 1 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 1/2 inch.
Next, open the wires into the tree shape.
The shorter bends should point inward, and the longer bends should point outward.
Bend each end by 1/4 inch, lock the ends together and fold the ends down to connect the bottom of the chenille stem Christmas tree.

Curve each of the wire segments to form the Christmas tree shape.
