Take a look at the simple materials and tools shown here.

The Steps for How to Make the Easy Christmas Crafts: Paper Pinwheel Wreath Ornament:
Cut two 2-inch circles and 12 1-inch squares from the paper. You can use a compass set at a 1-inch
radius to make the circles. Or, find a round object (like a drinking glass) that has a 2-inch diameter.
The diameter can range from 1 3/4 to 2 1/8 inches if you have difficulty finding an object exactly two
inches in diameter.

Draw a pencil line vertically through the center of one of the circles.

Draw a second line horizontally through the center that is perpendicular to the first line. The two
lines divide the circle into four equal quadrants. This is the face of the front circle.

Cut the string (or yarn - we used crochet yarn size 10) for a length of 10 inches.

Apply glue to the wrong side of the back circle. Position both ends of the string over the glue to
form the hanging loop.

Place the front circle with its crossed pencil marks over the string and glue on the back circle
matching the edges and pressing firmly.

Begin folding the 1-inch squares. Fold from the nearest corner roughly 1/3 of the
shape and form a sharp point at the left corner.

Fold the farthest corner toward you and form a point at the left corner. The result is a flattened
cone shape with a folded point on the left and the remaining flat corner on the right.

Fold all twelve of the 1-inch squares in the same way. It's important that the flaps are positioned
the same way on all of the folded cones for the Easy Christmas Crafts Paper Pinwheel Wreath Ornament.

Three cones will go into each of the four quadrants defined by the pencil marks on the front
circle.

Add glue to the outer flap of the first cone. Though it seems easier to apply the glue to the
circle, you have more control and less glue on your fingers if you apply the glue to the cone instead.

Position the fold-edge of the flap next to one of the pencil marks. Position the cone's folded
point at the center where the two pencil lines cross.

Follow those same steps placing the next cone adjacent to the cut-edge of the previous cone. The
three cones fit inside the first penciled quadrant.

The next three cones complete the first half of the circle for the Easy Christmas Crafts Paper
Pinwheel Wreath Ornament.

Continue adding the cones to fill the third quadrant.

After completing the fourth quadrant, allow the glue to dry.
